Marnong Estate Single Vineyard Shiraz 2023

Share

Plenty of white pepper spice opens this attractively savoury Shiraz before dark fruits – black cherry and blackberry – fill it out. Black olive and subtle grilled meat follow, with dried oregano in tow. Medium-bodied and cool in feel, the palate again leads with white pepper, followed by olive tapenade, black cherry, plum, and char-grilled meat. Fine, grainy tannins grip just enough at the sides. Fine-boned with savoury appeal, it closes long and cool. A classy expression of spicy, cool-climate Shiraz.
