I love seeing Pinot Gris with a light blush of colour, in this case, a faint onion skin. It’s intensely scented with bright aromas of peach, cantaloupe, lemon, grass and green apple. It needs a lot of air before it comes together, showing all those fruit characters on the palate, with an underlying note of grass. The acid and minerality make it zippy and zingy, with a nervous energy that makes it a pleasure to drink.
