Bright ruby red colour provides immediate appeal. The aromas lift with a spicy strawberry nuance touched with a slightly chalky minerality. The palate is firmish with a tight thread of sinewy tannins and oak holding the line through the fruit. There’s power and purpose here as it drives with some impetus to a long finish.
