Sourced from vineyards at Sevenhill. Golden peaches, tinned pear and cantaloupe. Pineapple juice and squeezed lemon. The fruit matches the peachy tones of the label. Filo pastry and sugared almonds. Middle palate weight with juicy acidity but befitting of the Gris friendly nature. There is a creamed honey note with kernel and pomelo citrus finish. Low alcohol of 11% but with all the flavour. A wine that would make plenty of palate smiles. This would suit creamy pastas like Cacio Pepe eaten on your lap on the couch or Burrata, peaches and basil. Drink now.
Shanteh cut her teeth at Sydney’s Award-Winning Quay restaurant where she worked for over a decade and was Head Sommelier from 2018 till 2022. She has been nominated for the Good Food Guide Sommelier of the Year award on three occasions and claims that her experience as a Len Evans scholar as one of the highlights of her career.
