Mitolo Of the Wind Chardonnay 2023

Share

Sliced pineapple, white peach and Meyer lemon. Crème brulée toffee, apple friand, nutmeg and cinnamon. Elderflower and fennel seed. The palate shows both crunchy acidity and a honeysuckle sweetness, lemon curd and glace pineapple finish. Oak adds complexity without overpowering. A touch of grapefruit pith and peach tea bitterness. It’s a well worked wine that encompasses both ripe fruit, power and presence. Drink now and will cellar 3-6 years. Serve with a good ham and cheese toastie.
