A masterclass in poise and complexity. Sous bois, balsamic, dried red rose, dried cherry, subtle tar, smoked meat, black tea. Beautiful balance and restraint, with a Burgundian sensibility. Cooling mineral palate, balsamic, cherry jus, black tea, and red rose. There’s such fine detail nestled in seamless weight, and svelte but high chalky tannins laced with cherry and black tea. Incredible complexity and elegance within a long gentle finish. A brilliant Barolo.
