Monty’s Leap Great Southern Pinot Noir 2024

If you know your vintages, you know that this was a very warm year in Western Australia, yet those cooler areas to the south of the state actually fared very well, especially for Pinot. This one has a palish colour, although strong hints of red. Then the aromas of strawberry and light mushroom provide a complexity that’s complemented by the oak. It’s light-bodied, yet there is deep texture and good structure ensuring it finishes with purpose.
