Monty’s Leap Single Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon 2022

A pretty good vintage for Cabernet in the Great Southern, with plenty of warmth, but not excessive, providing ripe, generous fruit with cooler climate subtlety. The nose displays cool climate influence with blackcurrant and subtle leafy notes. The palate shows excellent structure, classically cabernet-defined with firm tannins, integrated oak, and blackberry, slightly plummy flavour. Will handle extended cellaring.
