Moo Brew IPA

Share

Moo Brew IPA is a long overdue addition to the permanent range for the Tasmanian brewer, which has somewhat stubbornly refused to follow style trends.

Moo Brew’s outstanding renditions of classic European beer styles have enjoyed plenty of critical claim, and won stacks of trophies.

But it still flies somewhat under the radar, given it has been trading since 2005 and enjoys an association with Tassie’s highest profile tourist attraction, Mona.

With this beautifully executed and strikingly packaged Moo Brew IPA, the company will surely pique the interest of mainland craft beer drinkers.

As you’d expect from Moo, it’s a classically styled West Coast IPA. Presenting bright and golden, it’s bursting with lovely clean fruity, piney hop aroma – no ‘dankness’ here.

German specialty malts bring some depth and interest to the malt bill, and it’s impeccably balanced at a devilish 6.66 per cent ABV.

“It sold like hotcakes when we originally brought it out as a limited release, so it’s certainly earned its place amongst our Moo staples (alongside the Pale Ale, Pilsner, Session Ale, Dark Ale and Single Hop),” Moo Brew announced.

“The limited edition release was also awarded a gold medal at the 2019 Australian International Beer Awards.”
