Mount Avoca Estate Sauvignon Blanc 2020

High up in Victoria’s cool Pyrenees wine region sits the Mount Avoca winery. It is one of the oldest in the area with vines first planted in 1970 and is now completely organic. The local cool climate is also well suited to making more elegant wine styles including this delicious sauvignon blanc.

The wine is pale in colour and shows bright, youthful fruits with classic passionfruit and green bean accents plus attractive fruit delicacy. It is then quite dry with mouthwatering acidity balanced by just a touch of sweetness in a light-weight style with a lingering and vibrant finish. Chill it down and enjoy with goat’s cheese tarts.
