Made from Montepulciano (likely the most popular export from the Italian region of Abruzzo), this is a delightful rosé, one that was very easy to finish on a warm night with dinner. It’s crisp and with a sensation in the mouth that reminded me somewhat of Japanese sake. Aromas and tastes of strawberry, rose, green pepper, musk and chalk. The fragrances fill the room while the flavours fill the mouth, and with a light chill. It’s a fantastic choice for the summer or autumn months, particularly at 25 bucks.
