Mt. Bera Boundless Horizons Grüner Veltliner 2022

Share

Adelaide Hills has made Austria’s Grüner Veltliner feel right at home.  It’s a versatile grape variety, and here we see the Hills delivering a richer, more textural feel than usual that lights up in the glass thanks to some lively acidity. Aromas in grapefruit, apple, pear, citrus, lovage and garden herbs. This is a wine that builds in the glass, slowly, gathering pace and revealing ripe citrus and apple fruits and distinctive garden-fresh rocket and herbs against a velvety smooth background. Runs long and juicy with a bright acid spine. Captures Grüner in a fuller-bodied and ripe style and it suits the assignment. Pair with roast pork and apple sauce and be amazed.
