Munda Ngadjuri + Peramangk Grenache 2023

A very delicate nose, then, slowly, it’s showtime for wild strawberries, red currants, raspberries, fragrant roses and rhubarb. The palate is delightful; the red fruit is on the verge of being candied. But, good news, the alcohol doesn’t hit you in the face, the moderate acidity lingers, and that reserved fruit slowly rolls across the tongue, like words spelled by a non-English speaker (except me because I speak too fast). From 80-year-old vines from Vine Vale. As I keep typing, the fruit profile is still mingling around, rightfully showing me the middle finger and saying: “I’m here; just stop for a moment and look at me”.
