RedHeads Whip-hand Cabernet Sauvignon 2020

Share

My favourite wine from a recent Redheads tasting which will put on the faces of Barossa Cabernet fans. Deeply coloured, there is excellent purity of fruit on display. And despite its obvious raw power, there is also a pretty side to this wine. Classic Cabernet aromas of cassis and leaf with reserved oak – the fruit showing good precision and focus. A full-flavoured palate follows – punchy and juicy – but also with quite a stream;ined shape thanks to balanced acidity and ample tannins. You could enjoy it now but a couple of years in the cellar would not hurt.
