Petaluma White Label Chardonnay 2025

Share

A classic label, showing well in the warmer 2025 vintage. Vibrant peach and apricot kernel lead, layered over charry and vanillin cedar and toasted nuts. Yellow apple, pineapple husk, citrus peel and kumquat emerge with time in the glass. Richly fruited yet savoury, the two held in fine balance with a throughline of freshness. A creamy texture and solid palate intensity are supported by gentle ripples of chalky grip and a wash of firm acidity carrying the wine to a satisfying length. With strong regional definition and assured balance, there’s a lot of wine here for the money. Delicious drinking.
