Ninth Island Rosé 2024

Share

Made from Pinot Noir. This is juicy and full flavoured more than lean and fresh. Pale salmon into brick orange colour. Cranberry, watermelon, macerated strawberry, cinnamon spice. The spice notes add a savoury edge to sit beside the fruit. There’s quite a fulsome feel to the texture and fruit weight on the palate, with a good burst of watermelon and cranberry at the fore followed by strawberry and red currant with some spice notes in support. Perhaps more of a food wine than anticipated, with a good burst of intensity making this a solid option at $25.
