Novum Marlborough Chardonnay 2019

Share

We’ve got a Kiwi chardonnay here masquerading as quite a serious Premier Cru Burgundy thanks to its tangy fruit and superb layers of subtle detail. The colour is youthful with a powerful, focussed core of fruit – tangy nectarine and rockmelon with savoury lees notes and beautifully integrated french oak. The palate is then dry and fresh, while also boasting a creamy texture, citrus and floral fruits all wrapped up in a cloak of spicy oak before a long, subtle and silky finish. It’s a masterclass in premium New Zealand Chardonnay that will only get better.
