Oakover Late Picked Verdelho 2022

This neat little late picked wine shows the versatility of verdelho – dry, fortified or in this case with a little residual sugar. The thing is that the sugar doesn’t dominate. It’s there, for sure, but the balancing acidity keeps it so fresh and non-cloying. A platter of fresh fruit would be just the ticket.
