The Lane Adelaide Hills Pinot Blanc 2023

Share

Sourced from the Haigh family vineyard in the Adelaide Hills – yes, the famous chocolatiers – and, it must be said, they are more than capable grape growers! Pinot Blanc, a white mutation of Pinot Noir, can be quite floral and citrussy. This youngster fits the bill admirably with a lively, bouncing scent vibrant in citrus blossom, dried flowers, lantana, lychee, lemon and spiced apple. Shows its cool climate credentials upfront in clean, brisk acidity allied to a warm and generously spiced palate. Some additional exotic Asian spices immediately conjure up thoughts of Thai food.
