Oakridge Henk Pinot Noir 2024

Share

From the Woori Yallock sub-region, this Pinot heads down a more savoury, almost meaty track. Similar winemaking with a natural fermentation and eleven months maturation in French oak. Deep crimson with a garnet robe, the nose is quite open and approachable at this early stage. Smoked meats, Asian spice market notes, strawberries and cherries, florals and pretty much any red berry you could think of. Hints of chicory are evident on the finish. There is excellent balance here, and even with the power, there is good finesse. Impressive length through to satiny tannins, enjoy this over the next four to six years.
