Paracombe Plateau Blanc NV

Pinot Blanc gets its moment in bubbles and it makes it count. Super dry and fresh with a nicely struck savoury expression, it carries a bouquet of dusty lemon, preserved lemon, grapefruit, green apple and barley. A tang of citrus sets off the palate with grapefruit pith, almond skin and preserved lemon savouriness, and, is that a hint of herbals, too, and light acacia florals lighting up the background?  Finishes with a tart, green apple acidity. Summer drinking or aperitif style – it will suit both roles.
