Paralian Wines Blewitt Springs Grenache 2020

Paralian Wines are one of the leaders of new wave grenache in McLaren Vale. This wine starts with fruit off 60 year old vines from The Marmont Vineyard which received Rollys Royce treatment in the winery with plenty of effort going in to craft an exceptional wine. Handpicked fruits were wild fermented with some stalks and hand plunged with partial carbonic maceration encouraged. It has created a beautifully fragrant and vibrant wine – red cherry in colour and aroma with layers of spice and cranberry adding delicious detail. It’s a wine with real energy that pops from the glass. The palate is then supple, long and ethereal with concentrated yet elegant fruits propped up by al dente tannins. There is a delicious combination of delicacy and power which is a triumph for the vintage and fantastic value.
