Tapanappa Cabernet Shiraz 2018

Share

This a spectacular Aussie claret style; poised, focused and built for the long haul with its powerful blackberry, chocolate, blackcurrant, gravel aromas that are muscular and dense. Fantastic volume of fruit follows but all kept in check by layers of firm tannin and a gentle burst of acidity. A cloak of high quality oak sits well in what is a robust style which finishes tight and long. One of the best vintages of this hallowed label which offers almost unbelievable value. If you are going to buy one wine for the cellar this year, make it this one.
