Passel Estate Lot 71 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2017

If you are going to open this wine up in the next five years give it some serious time in a decanter as it is a bit of a monster and needs time to come together. It’s a big style for Margaret River, rippling with fruit and oak. Chunky fruit pastille, blackberry and graphite aromas are lathered with sweet oak. It’s then bright and bold with gravelly tannins beneath dense fruit flavour which delivers a long and strong finish. It’s a baby and worth a decade in the cellar.
