Patina Orange Chardonnay 2019

Share

From the Orange region, with vineyards on Mt Canobolas at an altitude of 900 metres. At the moment, the oak is a touch more prevalent than would be considered ideal but in 12 months integration should have resolved that to advantage. Colour is a very lean, pale yellow. The aroma is very much nuts, a mix of cashews and almonds. Behind that, plenty of pleasing stonefruit notes. The highlight at the moment is the texture; gorgeous, slippery and seductive with decent length too. This will be better in 1 to 2 years.
