Penfolds RWT Bin 798 Barossa Valley Shiraz 2019

Share

A beautifully polished and immediately impressive example of Barossa Shiraz that manages to carry immense fruit concentration while remaining tight and composed. Inky ruby, there is a tight first of powerful dark fruits with pepper and violet edges kept in line by sturdy, high quality oak. Despite its obvious intensity the fruit is also bright and vibrant with finely balanced acidity helping to retain poise before chiselled tannins drive a long, firm finish. A serious and structural wine with a long life ahead.
