Why do we keep buying Italian Prosecco when we have bright, fruit-driven sparkling wines like this one? Crisp green apples, pear skins and tangerine oil. It reminds me of fruit salads and parties full of jolly people. In the mouth, there is lovely shortcrust pastry and more bright fruit. I don’t want to downplay how enjoyable it is on its own, but considering we live in a spritz state of mind, this would also be the perfect sparkling wine to use. It finishes longer than expected, leaving a flavour reminiscent of orange Fanta. Delicious.
