Pizzini Fiano 2025

After spending four months on lees post fermentation, this Fiano was fairly recently bottled at the time of tasting (early December 2025). Despite its youth, it is showing a lovely aromatic intensity of white peach and nectarine, Thai green mango, honeydew melon and a hint of cashew nuts. Fiano is a variety that rewards a year or two in bottle for development of spicy tropical fruit. But this one also delights as a youngster with bright, fresh acidity and a savoury minerality that comes to the fore. Drink with cold prawns by the beach.
