Pizzini Pinot Grigio 2025

Share

This has all the classic Pinot Grigio fruit characters, but there’s lovely floral finesse and a saline edge that adds interest. Pear, pear blossom, green apple, sea salt, lemon peel and lemon oil. There’s a good sense of purity and line to the perfume. The palate follows suit, with pear and green apple sitting above a cut of pithy lemon and gentle brine before a good vein of pear-laden acidity draws freshness and impressive line and length. Some subtly bitter citrus-preserve notes linger. This is a considered and well-made Grigio that punches above its price point. Nicely done.
