Podere Brizio Rosso di Montalcino 2018

The fruit in this wine comes from Montalcino’s hottest area, although the rocky soils are renowned for producing wines with great mineral drive. Medium to light frame with plenty of tart bright red fruit. Acidity washes over the palate and provides the foundation of this fresh and vibrant wine. There is plenty of interest here – tomato leaf, sour cherry, bay, balsamic and violet. A lengthy and defined core of fruit with fine and dusty tannins, this wine is incredibly poised and well made – delightful stuff!
