Pt. Leo Estate Rose 2020

Share

The Pt. Leo Rose is made from French Burgundian clones of pinot noir which is a very good place to start. It is onion skin pink and immediately pretty and subtle with musk, rose petal and raspberry fruits in what is a bright and fruit forward style. In the mouth the wine takes a savoury turn with its red fruits joined by earthy and spicy complexity. Acidity is high which creates a refreshing, thirst quenching style that is best enjoyed chilled. Drink it with rockmelon wrapped in prosciutto.
