Pt. Leo Estate Method Traditional Sparkling 2018

Share

Here we have the premium version of sparkling wine from Pt. Leo. It is a classic blend of pinot noir and chardonnay with a little bit of barrel ferment and then aged on its yeast lees for two years. Despite its age the wine is still very youthful and unevolved with citrus and faint strawberry fruits lifted by some delicate yeast praline and pastry complexity. It is bright, fresh and creamy on the palate with crisp acidity balanced by sweetness which makes it user friendly and well suited for an aperitif.
