This 2023 Oenotri fermented in amphora is a big step up on the standard bottling with old fashioned cola, and inky aromas, with a dusting of dried herbs which shows confidence and presence. Broody flavours follow, dark and mysterious, with strong earthy tones with an attractive freshness and vibrancy supported by an undercoat of mouth coating tannins. A fascinating and unique take on the variety as well as a triumph for the vintage.
