A fascinating expression of Barossa Grenache with whole bunch characters matched up with ripe and rich fruits. Deep, dark red in colour, the wine has superb fruit purity and concentration with cranberry and cherry aromas plus touches of earth and spice. It is then dry, full-bodied, youthful and expressive, but also quite firm on the palate with more brooding and savoury fruits, particularly spice and herbs matched up with some sinewy tannins. It is built to last combining fruit power and ample tannins to make a wine that really needs time to show its best. It will be fascinating to see what this wine has to offer over the next decade.
