Quin Wines Barossa Valley Grenache 2019

Share

While this wine has plenty of whole bunch fruit, it seemed to show it a little less here than in the 2018 vintage. It is a generous and full-flavoured Barossan Grenache style with a wide array of cranberry and raspberry aromas with darker cherry fruits and an attractive dusting of stalky spice. There is then a deliciously velvety texture to start on the palate with impressive fruit intensity before stalky tannins come through to provide a long savoury finish. It feels a little bound up right now and needs a couple of years to come together.
