Under the banner of Tim Knappstein and Son Wines, Riposte’s Adelaide Hills portfolio logically contains a Sauvignon Blanc that here exhibits all the front-end aromatic exuberance the variety is renowned for. Tomato bush and capsicum to the fore, before bridging into a sweeter palate, passionfruit and brown lime cordial richness leading the flavour lines, acidity tempered, a subtle spiced gingery note as well. All the Sauvignon boxes ticked – plenty of sensory excitement on offer.
