Rising Yarra Valley Chardonnay 2024

Share

Yarra Valley Chardonnay is often a very solid bet and that’s certainly the case with the 2024 Rising. It starts with beautiful aromas of lemon, peach, straw, brine and yoghurt, which are youthful and intense. Once you take a nip, the wine shows its true elegance. The palate is salty and bright with a very pleasant mouthfeel, highlighting the ripe fruit and vivid flavours. It’s a great wine for drinking by itself but it also pairs with a huge array of foods, in particular, poultry and cheese. Another solid offering from Rising and winemaker Anthony Fikkers.
