You’ve got to love a happy ending – and a mighty enjoyable happy ending at that. The 2021 vintage in Margaret River was mixed weather-wise to start, but for the later ripening Cabernet Sauvignon, it was all good timing. The results are here to enjoy in a well-structured and detailed Cabernet that shows the strengths of Margaret River’s number one red grape. The aroma sets the scene in blueberries, black and red fruits, crushed herbs, black pepper and chocolate lifted aromatically by attractive florals. Three years old, fresh and alive, the palate is laced in fine tannins, the perfect playing field for some persistent and ripe black, red and blue berry, soft-edged herbals and warm oak-led spices to indulge your senses.
