Patrick Coonawarra Two Blocks Cabernet Sauvignon 2021

Share

‘Two Blocks’ is the mid-tier range and everything is dialled up slightly here. It’s an incredibly vibrant and energy-filled wine with heaps of fruit: blackberry and redcurrant, with some baking spices, vanilla, dark choc, leather and herbs for good measure. The tannins are still a tad rough, but when the wine’s paired with food, they meld nicely. Therefore, it’s a great wine to have with dinner, particularly something full flavoured like a lamb roast or beef casserole. It should continue to cellar for at least another three to five years.
