Weighing in at just 12.5% abv – tick. Easy drinkability – another tick. Cabernet Sauvignon made to be modern while still celebrating its attractive nose to palate aromatics of crushed dark berries and blackcurrant, chocolate and mint. Juicy, and decidedly fruit sweet, all in a lighter frame compared to the kind of old-school heavy and full-bodied, oak-smashed styles grandads might have drunk in bygone days. Let’s hope Cabernet wines like this can bring more folks back to the noblest of red varieties.
