Risky Business Malbec 2023

Solo Malbec is always interesting and this example, dominated by fruit from Margaret River, is not only most appealing but cracking value. The colour is a dark magenta, with notes of plums and mulberries and an array of dark fruits. Dense, taut, full of flavour with spices and chocolate. Plenty of firm tannins here, a fleshy style which offers some serious length. This is a wine with a decade of pleasure ahead of it. A really good value Malbec.
