This is such a wonderful expression of Barossa Shiraz. It comes from an exceptionally cool vintage, which has enabled the fruit to slowly achieve ideal ripeness and flavour in perfect balance. When seasons like this come along, you rub your hands together. It was fermented in open vats with whole berries and no stalks, contributing to its bright pure fruit expression. It’s soft and supple with a palate that begins lazily then accelerates to a sustained finish. Bright red fruits with lovely floral notes. Beautiful.
