Riversdale Estate Shark Point Chardonnay 2024

This is sourced from some pretty old blocks that were planted back in 1991 on the southernmost part of the Riversdale vineyard that overlooks the notorious Shark Point. Has a minerally, spicy, cut-lime character on the nose with a subtle hint of chalk dust. The palate has a lightly melony character, yet it’s held close and supported by fine, precise acidity and a slightly citrusy, spicy combination at work. The palate is quite sublime with tremendous penetration and length. Mighty impressive wine this.
