Two Hands Sexy Beast Cabernet Sauvignon 2019

I really wasn’t quite sure what to find in this wine but yes it is definitely one Sexy Beast. In much of South Australia Cabernet Sauvignon gets forgotten so it is great to see this delicious version coming out of McLaren Vale. It has got beautifully rich leafy blackcurrant fruit with a sneaky edge of sweet blackberry sitting just underneath. The palate is then bold with lashings of sweet dark fruits, but it also manages to retain its distinctive leafy cabernet personality. It’s a big red with plenty of character and personality well suited to youthful drinking thanks to supple tannins. Enjoy it with vegetarian lasagne.
