Harewood Estate Flux II Pinot Gris 2020

Share

I love the concept behind the Flux range from Harewood Estate. The wines are all made to be unusual takes on various grape varieties with every label on each bottle unique. They are out of the box, experimental wines and it would be great if more wineries did the same.

But back to the wine, it is pinot gris for sure with aromatic layers of musk and floral fruits. The style has the brightness and freshness of pinot grigio, thanks to the cool Frankland River climate, but also some textural richness to its pear-favoured palate. It’s dry, tangy and concentrated, with a long and spicy finish making it ideal for aromatic South-East Asian dishes. with a little bit of spice if you please.
