Brown Brothers Patricia Cabernet Sauvignon 2017

Share

A wine that tends more to medium bodied yet with such power and poise. The fruit sourcing has contributed to that with a mix of Central Victorian, Pyrenees, King Valley and Yarra Valley cabernets. Medium body it might be but it’s laden with intense blackcurrant and stewy plums on the nose. The palate has a degree of astringency, but it sits harmoniously within a powerful, focused, and effortless structured profile. Has a chalky mouth feel with a sappy fruit character. Nice wine for cellaring, especially with that firmish spine of tannin.
