Robert Stein Dry Riesling 2021

Share

There is a long and proud history of fine riesling at Robert Stein going back to the 1970’s. Generally there are quite textural wines but in 2021 the vintage has taken their dry riesling more into the classic Clare Valley style, which no doubt many will appreciate. Super pale in colour, there is an immediate hit of punchy exotic fruits – roses lime and gardenia flowers topped by an attractive dusting of spice. It’s then dry and mid weight but what really stands out is the juicy, vibrant acidity. Despite that, it is already very approachable with good weight before a lingering, crisp finish. Enjoy with spicy fish tacos.
