In this super vintage, Mount Barker shows what it can do with cabernet. Presents as an effortless yet structured and poised cabernet showing all that is good with the variety from this region. Bright black fruits on the nose with a concentrated yet refined palate that is supported by chalky fine tannins. A dry graphite edge on the finish completes an excellent wine that should see plenty of time in the cellar.
