Rowlee R Series Chardonnay 2019

Share

Quite a serious Orange Chardonnay here with the winemakers working hard to craft a wine with serious complexity with a tight line of acidity which provides good impact and backbone. Still quite pale in colour, it delivers powerful citrus and pear fruits lifted by nougat barrel ferment and cashew oak complexity – there is plenty to enjoy as the wine warms up in the glass. It’s then a fine, acid driven style on the palate, taut and tangy, which helps to drive a long fresh finish which also provides good aging potential. A crisp style of Chardonnay so well suited to delicately flavoured dishes.
