Rowlee Single Vineyard Fiore 2023

This is a sweeter style made from Riesling and Sauvignon Blanc. The grapes are late harvest, picked at the end of May, to allow for accumulation of sugar and riper fruit flavours. The aromas are a delicate expression of the two varieties – lime juice cordial, lemon zest, kiwi fruit and passionfruit flower. On the palate there’s a velvety citrus pith texture with zesty grapefruit and lemon flavours. Being a late harvest style, it’s sweet, but not intensely so. The crisp acidity leaves the finish beautifully fresh. The balance of this wine promises delightful pairings with cheese and fresh fruit or a spicy thai stirfry.
